Ben Levi Ross will be welcomed back to the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street) this Tuesday, March 22, where he will re-join the Broadway company of Dear Evan Hansen as ‘Evan Hansen.’

Washington DC's oldest continuously operating theatre, The National Theatre has added four distinguished new members to its Board of Directors. Joining the theatre's Board are private equity pioneer Daryn Dodson, longtime non-profit and arts leader Peter Jablow, innovative advertising and marketing executive Jean Komendera, and civic leader and two-term Washington DC Mayor, Anthony A. Williams.

Dear Evan Hansen comes to Schenectady's Proctors Tuesday, March 22-Sunday, March 27. In advance of the start of performances, the production announced today that it will host a digital ticket lottery offering fans the chance to purchase a limited number of $25 tickets available per performance. 

Prospect Theater Company announced today the complete casting for their upcoming work-in-process concert presentation of The Oscar Micheaux Suite. The concert performances of The Oscar Micheaux Suite will take place on Saturday, March 26th at 2pm & 7pm, and Sunday, March 27th at 2pm at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street).

Afterwords is the 24th new musical produced by The 5th Avenue Theatre and features music and lyrics by Zoe Sarnak and a book by Emily Kazmarek, with direction by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, choreography by Ebony Williams, and music supervision by Matt Perri.

Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival announces veteran stage, film, and television actor Tony Todd will return to play the role of Troy Maxson in August Wilson’s Fences. The Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning play will open this summer at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA.

The 2021-22 Season “Reignite, Reimagine!” Continues at Creative  Cauldron with The Adventures of Mr. Toad, a rollicking musical comedy adaptation of  Kenneth Grahame's The Wind In the Willows, written by Ellen Selby and PJ Audenzia

Tony Award-nominated and five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb has announced the complete line-up for the rescheduled 25th SUMMERWORKS festival of new plays. SUMMERWORKS will run May 20 – July 2, 2022 at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street) and will feature productions of three new plays.

Broadway Records announced today the release of 16 Stories, a collection of 16 previously unrecorded songs written by award-winning musical theatre creators from around the world and recorded by The Australian Discovery Orchestra.

Olney Theatre Center announced the full casting for its one night presentation of the new musical Lautrec at the St. James, which will be performed in concert on Friday, March 11 at 8:00 pm.

The Dramatists Guild of America has welcomed Adam Gwon and David Henry Hwang to its Council. The Guild is governed by a board of directors (Council) elected from its membership. These writers, in various stages of their theatrical careers, meet monthly to decide policy for the Guild.
