NTL's All About Eve comes to the big screen in HD at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, November 29 at 7pm, part of The Classical Series with support from Whistle Stop Bakery, underwritten by Jeanne Cook, Liz & Steven Goldstone, and Sabina & Walter Slavin.

Take Me Out has found its full Broadway cast! Second Stage Theater has announced full casting for the Broadway production of Richard Greenberg's Tony Award-winning play, Take Me Out. Julian Cihi, Hiram Delgado, Brandon J. Dirden, Will Harrison, Carl Lundstedt, Ken Marks, Michael Oberholtzer, and Joél Pérez will join previously announced stars Patrick J. Adams, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jesse Williams. Directed by Scott Ellis, Take Me Out will begin previews April 2, 2020 and officially open on April 23, 2020 at Second Stage's Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street).

The Palace Theater in Manchester is home to many well-known theater productions that entertain the diverse community in the city. One such show is 'Flashdance', which is running at the Palace until November 17th. From tasteful 80's fashion popping up through different costumes to classic songs from the decade, this production brings the best of the 80's (while still appealing to those of us who are perhaps less of a fan). Alongside the great music, this production also featured projection work, live video, and unique lighting to bring a tasteful diversity to a minimalistic set design.

The Guthrie Theater presents the perennial holiday favorite A Christmas Carol, written by Charles Dickens, adapted by Crispin Whittell and directed by Lauren Keating. A Twin Cities holiday tradition for many, this season marks the Guthrie's 45th production, making it the longest run of A Christmas Carol in regional theater history. 

Meet the cast of the West Coast premiere of Ebenezer Scrooge's BIG San Diego Christmas Show at The Old Globe, a hilarious family-friendly Scrooge parody set in San Diego.

The Tony Award-winning musical, Disney's Newsies, will receive an additional six performances during its run at Arena Stage. Under the direction of Molly Smith, choreography by Parker Esse and music direction by Laura Bergquist, the production now runs through December 29, 2019 in the iconic in-the-round Fichandler Stage.

The Ivoryton Playhouse provides a fresh take on Dickens's timeless A Christmas Carol with their production of Charles Evered's An Actor's Carol from December 13 -December 22. It tells the tale of Hugh Pendleton, an actor drained of artistic passion after having played the character of Scrooge one too many times, which leads to Pendleton encountering three ghosts of his own. A cast of 4 actors plays 17 different characters in this hilarious new look at a classic that reminds us that the most jaded among us can find magic in the holiday season- and in the theater as well!

Manhattan Theatre Club's American premiere of The Height of the Storm, written by Tony Award® nominee Florian Zeller (The Father), translated by two-time Tony Award Winner Christopher Hampton (Les Liaisons Dangereuses) and directed by Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee Jonathan Kent (Long Day's Journey into Night) is beginning its final two weeks of performances. After being extended, the play must close on Sunday, November 24 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

WGN America announced today that the second season of the comedic procedural series “Carter” will premiere January 20 at 10 PM ET/PT. Jerry O'Connell (Billions), Sydney Poitier Heartsong (Chicago P.D.) and Kristian Bruun (Orphan Black) return for the show's sophomore season. Andy Berman (Psych, Rosewood) joins “Carter” as the showrunner and executive producer and series creator Garry Campbell (Kids in The Hall, MADtv) returns as an executive producer and writer on the series.

Second Stage Theater (Carole Rothman, President and Artistic Director; Casey Reitz, Executive Director) has announced Ben McKenzie (Ben) will complete the cast of Bess Wohl's GRAND HORIZONS. The production will mark his Broadway debut.

The first wave of casting has been announced for Jonathan Harvey's Our Lady of Blundellsands, as the Everyman & Playhouse announce their full 2020 spring summer season filled with new works, big titles, family fun and re-imagined stories.

At an SRO ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, the Board of the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association (BTCA) presented the Berkshire Theatre Awards on the evening of Monday, November 11, 2019. This was the fourth year the awards have been presented to honor and celebrate the excellence and diversity of theatre in the greater Berkshire region.

Theresa Caputo, from TLC's hit show, Long Island Medium, will be appearing live at the Miller Auditorium on Wednesday, April 29th at 7:30pm. A new wave of African American Theatre is sweeping through mid-Michigan with Passing Strange. That's right, the electrifying rock and roll musical that took Broadway by storm in 2008- winning multiple Drama Desk Awards and the 2008 Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical-will find a home in Flint, MI at Flint Local 432 for three nights December 6, 7, & 8, 2019.

Join hundreds of tenor and bass tuba players for a holiday sing along at Merry Tuba Christmas at The Rink at Rockefeller Center, located between 49th and 50th Streets and 5th and 6th Avenues, on Sunday, December 15th, from 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. Tubists of all ages will line up under the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas tree and fill the plaza with holiday classics.
