Reservoir announces the acquisition of a global stake in the historic catalog of the late American songwriter Hoagy Carmichael. The deals, conducted with Carmichael's heirs, see Reservoir adding nearly 500 Carmichael titles to its multi-genre portfolio, dating as far back as the 1920s.

Disney's The Lion King continues to reign across North America with a record-breaking, sold-out, two-week premiere engagement at Miller Auditorium in Kalamazoo, where the tour grossed over $3.4 million at the box office and entertained more than 52,000 theatergoers during 16 performances. The production, which played Miller Auditorium April 4 - 15, broke the box office record for any touring Broadway engagement in Kalamazoo.

Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) is thrilled to present Disney's The Lion King, Jr., featuring Berkshire elementary and middle school students. Directed by Travis Daly, music direction by Erin White and choreography by Kathy Jo Grover, Disney's The Lion King, Jr. will run at The Colonial Theatre on April 28 at 11am and 2pm, and April 29 at 2pm. There will be a talkback following the April 28TH 2pm performance, facilitated by director Travis Daly. In 1994, the Disney animated feature The Lion King made history as the highest grossing film of the year. Three years later on November 13, 1997, the awe-inspiring stage adaptation directed and costumed by Julie Taymor opened on Broadway. It received six Tony Awards, including Best Musical. With songs by Elton John and Tim Rice, the vibrant score is by Hans Zimmer, who recruited South African composer Lebo M. to create the textural Zulu influence. Twenty-five years later, its legacy continues to reverberate around the world. In a Japanese translation of this mega hit, Shiki Theater Haru in Minato remounted the first international production of The Lion King on December 20th, 1998. This year it celebrates its 20th anniversary in Japan at the Natsu Theater in Shinagawa.

Sony Music proudly announces the release ofTOMB RAIDER(Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) featuring the music of Dutch composer Tom Holkenborg, a.k.a. Junkie XL. The soundtrack will be released digitally and on CD on March 9. The movie will be released in theaters in the U.S. on March 16.
