Multiple Grammy Award winner Sharon Isbin, recently recognized as the 2020 Instrumentalist of the Year by Musical America will appear in recital on August 5 at 7:00pm at the Aspen Music Festival’s Benedict Music Tent.

Bryant Park Picnic Performances' season of free, live performances continues on Thursday, August 12 at 7pm with the live, outdoor summer concert event CRAIG HARRIS’ NOCTURNAL NUBIAN BALL FOR CONSCIENTIOUS BALLERS AND CULTURAL SHOT CALLERS — led by world-renowned trombonist and composer Craig Harris.

The New Jersey Youth Symphony announced today that trombonist and composer Dion Tucker and longtime Garden State educator Gregory Williams will be joining the Jazz faculty this Fall as Director of NJYS Jazz and Jazz Orchestra and Director of NJYS Big Band, respectively.

'I haven't sung in three years!' said Liza Minnelli to an adoring crowd at Feinstein's at Vitello's. The living legend stopped by the famed LA supperclub last week, where she performed on stage with Michael Feinstein himself. Watch below as she sings the Gershwin classic- 'Embraceable You.'

This weekend, on Sunday, July 25 at 3 pm, the Harlem Quartet, a Music Mountain favorite, takes the stage to perform a vibrant program of works by Black composers, from William Grant Still and George Walker to Wynton Marsalis and Billy Strayhorn.

Orfeh returned to Feinstein's/54 Below this week with her new series of concerts, 'Or & More' on July 15-17.

The film will reportedly begin following the death of Minnelli's mother, Judy Garland. It will then follow Minnelli on her rise to fame, beginning in the 1970s, and chronicling her various accolades, including an Oscar for best actress (Cabaret), an Emmy for best TV special (Liza with a Z), and a Tony for best actress in a musical (The Act). 

Music Director Osmo Vänskä and the Grammy Award-winning Minnesota Orchestra today announced plans for the ensemble’s 2021-22 season that runs from September 2021 to June 2022 and includes Classical, Live at Orchestra Hall, Movies & Music, Holiday and Relaxed Family concerts.

Ms. Luther, who appeared in Evita at Theatre By The Sea in 2008, returns with a brand new solo concert. Ms. Robbins & Ms. Swindal, (who appeared in Theatre By The Sea productions of Mary Poppins and Spamalot), will be presenting their latest show We Just Move On! - The Songs of Kander and Ebb.

On Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 1pm, the Boston-based Neave Trio will perform on two concerts presented as part of Bard Music Festival's 12-concert series, Nadia Boulanger and Her World. The concerts will be performed for a live audience at the Fisher Center's LUMA Theater at Bard College (Manor Ave.) and livestreamed online.

Lees joined the Charlotte Symphony as Assistant Conductor for the 2016–17 season and was  appointed Resident Conductor in 2018. Since then, he has curated and conducted more than 60 performances a year, leading the CSO's Movie and Family Series in addition to the Symphony's  popular On Tap series at Charlotte-area breweries.

Brooklyn performance and civic space JACK announces concerts in unusual spaces by acclaimed experimental composer and musician Lea Bertucci. The first, on July 31, involves an afternoon of concerts on the handball courts at Riis Park Beach. The second, on August 14, is a performance in the DUMBO Archway underneath the Manhattan Bridge.

This double bill, conceived of by LBO's former Interim Artistic Advisor Yuval Sharon, features the work and perspective of women creatives and creative teams.

Porchlight Music Theatre has announced that actor, singer, dancer Chita Rivera will be honored with The ICON Award and Rick and Deann Bayless and the Bayless Family Foundation will be presented with the Luminary Award at the 2021 ICONS Gala celebrating 26 years of Porchlight as the center for music theatre in Chicago.

Join the Black Broadway community as they perform inspirational songs at the Darkness RISING: Live 4 Block Party! The 4th annual concert benefits Darkness RISING Nonprofit, a 501(c)3 organization which provides direct mental health resources to the Black community.

Bryant Park Picnic Performances' season of free, live performances continues on Friday, July 30 at 7pm with Broadway rising star Adrienne Warren. This performance is part of this season's Carnegie Hall Citywide Series. Entry to this event is now open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis for all audience members. 

Irvine Barclay Theatre will kick off a new season on September 9 with an array of renowned artists including country chart-topping trio The Gatlin Brothers; multi-Grammy-winning jazz artist Pat Metheny; internationally-acclaimed song stylist Michael Feinstein; and author and social commentator Fran Lebowitz.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts will welcome guests back to the Center for more live indoor performances, following Orange County’s first live indoor event, the successful sold out performance in April, Uniting in Movement.
