The Oratorio Society of New York, led by Music Director Kent Tritle, announces its 2022-23 season with three concerts in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. The 22-23 season includes a newly commissioned world premiere; the 148th year of its performances of Handel's Messiah, a venerable New York holiday tradition; and Bach's Mass in B Minor, a standout in Baroque choral works.
TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), announces the launch of TRU Diversity: Amplifying BIPOC Voices, an initiative to highlight the works and explore the concerns of BIPOC theater artists, producers and administrators. The debut of the TRU Diversity program will feature a free reading of Greenwood, a relevant new play by TRU member Coolidge Harris II, set during the Tulsa Race Massacre.
