As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the Tony Award-winning new musical COME FROM AWAY tells the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded air passengers during the wake of 9/11, and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. It will land in London for its long-awaited UK premiere at The Phoenix Theatre next year with performances from 30 January 2019 and opening night on 18 February 2019. Prior to the West End, this heart-warming musical will have a limited engagement at The Abbey Theatre in Dublin from 6 December 2018 to 19 January 2019.

Book-It Repertory Theatre will open its 2018-2019 season with Jane Eyre. Called the 'first historian of the private consciousness', author Charlotte Bronte explores classism, sexuality, and female expression in this Gothic mystery. Julie Beckman adapted and directed Jane Eyre for Book-It in 2001 and will direct the 2018 production.

The made-in-Canada international phenomenon that is COME FROM AWAY has recouped its full capitalization in Toronto in only 14 weeks, a relatively short period of time for a production of its size and calibre. This signals not only the popularity of COME FROM AWAY but also the strength of the theatre market in Toronto.

According to Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail, the Tony Award-winning musical Come From Away will bring Gander to London in 2019, when the show opens up shop at the Phoenix Theatre with an all-British cast.

BODY TRAFFIC is a well-established multi-themed contemporary dance company, made up of eight incredibly strong, amazingly agile dancers. They are known world-wide, but call Los Angeles their home. Multiple award-winning producers Luckiest Productions and One Eyed Man Productions are thrilled to announce the cast for their highly anticipated production of Gypsy. With a toe-tapping, acclaimed score, Gypsy is heralded by many as the greatest musical ever created and will run from 18 May at the Hayes Theatre Co.

Proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 92-year-old Palace Theatre today begins a full facelift of its 2,837-seat auditorium as part of an ongoing $6.5 million renovation. Adjacent to downtown Columbus' LeVeque Tower, the six-month, main-hall makeover will include the repair of damaged plaster, new paint in a new color scheme, all-new seats on the first floor, and fully refurbished seats in the balcony. As such, the Palace is now closed to the public, and will reopen in November 2018.
