The Tank (Meghan Finn, Artistic Director; Johnny G. Lloyd, Director of Artistic Development) will present the World Premiere of the family-friendly Simon and His Shoes by Steph Singer and Laurel Haines and directed by Meghan Finn, which will run October 1-30 at The Tank

Director Zen Pace’s debut narrative short FRAUD starring Dana Aliya Levinson (STARZ’s American Gods) and Babak Tafti (Showtime’s Super Pumped), subverts the crime thriller genre by centering marginalized characters grappling with identity, love, and immigrant experiences. Levinson also wrote this timely tale. The Tribeca Film Festival is FRAUD’s World Premiere and the film is screening in competition.

New York's leading LGBTQ film festival, NewFest, has announced the full lineup of their 31st annual celebration of the year's best LGBTQ films from around the world. As announced earlier this week, the festival will kick off the festival's 31st edition with the New York premiere of Mike Doyle's Manhattan-set ensemble rom-com SELL BY, featuring an eclectic cast including Scott Evans (Netflix's “Grace and Frankie”), Kate Walsh (ABC's “Grey's Anatomy”), Academy Award-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Patricia Clarkson, Michelle Buteau (Netflix's “Tales of the City”) and Augustus Prew (HIGH-RISE), and will close the festival with the New York premiere of Rodrigo Bellott's award-winning film TU ME MANQUES, which was recently announced as Bolivia's submission for Best International Feature Film selection for the 2019 Academy Awards. 

BLOODY BLOODY JESSICA FLETCHER: A MUSICAL PARODY, a new musical with an original score by Keith Varney and a book by Kevon Zak, Josh Lamon and Phillip Taratula, will get an industry reading on April 24. The presentation will star Beth Leavel, Josh Lamon, Phillip Taratula, Leslie Kritzer, Randy Blair, Emily Walton, and Gretchen Wylder.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 presents Amy Jo Jackson (30th Anniversary cast of CLUE; Feinstein's/54 Below's all-female cast of 1776) in I Want To Be Your Man on Friday, April 13th, 2018, at 9:30pm.

FIRST DATE Broadway Musical is a musical with a book by Austin Winsberg and music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner. Based around the concept of a blind date, these first daters bring tons of baggage, which gets kicked around metaphorically onstage with truly funny and witty words and song.
