Guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Jonah Tolchin today unveils “Black Hole,” the hypnotic opening track from his upcoming studio album, Lava Lamp. Co-produced with multi-instrumentalist/engineer Nic Coolidge, Lava Lamp was recorded with a three-piece that included Coolidge on bass and Tolchin’s friend and collaborator Kevin Clifford on drums.

For over 50 years, Little Feat has fused California rock, funk, folk, jazz, country, rockabilly, and New Orleans swamp boogie into a unique musical gumbo all their own. Little Feat comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center on Saturday, November 13 at 8 pm. Tickets are $59-$99.

The show features original music from their two recent BMG albums, songs from their solo projects as well as classic songs by The Allman Brothers Band, the legendary group founded by Devon and Duane’s fathers, Gregg Allman & Dickey Betts.
It was originally recorded by the Blind Boys of Alabama, who performed regularly with The Fairfield Four, the legendary quartet of whom that the sister’s father - the Reverend Samuel McCrary co-founded, so it has special meaning for them.
