Assassins tells a story of nine individuals who succeeded or attempted to assassinate the President of the United States of their time. This musical mixes humor and drama to tell a story about people who are trying to understand themselves in all different parts of life. Director Lauren Shields puts a contemporary view on this 2004 Tony award winning musical. Tickets have officially gone on sale for Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's musical masterpiece ASSASSINS, opening May 2nd at Long Island City's Secret Theatre. The production will be directed by Lauren Shields.

Film actor Tim Realbuto* has been tapped to play John Hinckley, the man whose obsession with a young Jodie Foster made him attempt to assassinate President Ronald Reagan, in Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's musical masterpiece ASSASSINS, opening May 2nd at Long Island City's Secret Theatre.
