Monty Python's SPAMALOT, the madcap Tony Award-winning musical continues Surflight Theatre's 65th Anniversary Seasonfrom July 30 - August 24. Directed by Charlie Siedenburg and choreographed by Jenn Rapp, with music direction by Henco Espag, Monty Python's SPAMALOT will have a press opening on July 31 at 8pm. Monty Python's Spamalot (July 30-August 24) is an outrageous musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the 1975 film classic "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." Featuring music and lyrics by the Grammy-Award winning team of Eric Idle and John Du Prez and book by Eric Idle, Spamalot tells the story of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their madcap quest for the Holy Grail. Did we mention the bevy of beautiful show girls, flying cows, killer rabbits, taunting Frenchmen and show-stopping musical numbers? SPAMALOT stars Broadway vet and Surflight alum Kelly Briggs as King Arthur, Ali Gleason (Lady of Lake), Christopher Sloan (Sir Robin), Stephen Cerf(Lancelot), Mark Alpert (Sir Galahad), Tom DeMichele (Sir Bedevere), Glenn Giron (Patsy), and Christopher Timson (Herbert). The ensemble includesAmanda Lynn Fannon, Ronnie Keller, Morgan McCann, Brian Martin, Amelia Millar, Grant Snuffer, Brendan Stackhouse, Kelly Swint, and Janet Wiggins.
