Meet Mark Lazar who Plays Nat in AH, WILDERNESS! at East Lynne Theater Company

The award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company's production of Eugene O'Neill' 'Ah, Wilderness!' continues to delight audiences. This large-cast comedy from 1933 originally starred George M. Cohan in the role of Nat Miller, and Will Rogers played the role on the road the following year.  Nat is the editor of a newspaper in a Connecticut town in 1906, with a devoted wife and several children going through different phases of 'growing pains.' Mark Lazar, who was in ELTC's 'Zorro!,' is portraying this iconic role.

Meet the Actors in East Lynne Theater Company AH, WILDERNESS!

For those who didn't have the opportunity to meet the cast of fourteen in East Lynne Theater Company's 'Ah, Wilderness!' at the after-show party at The Merion Inn, another chance is to be had on Friday, August 4 at an after-show Q&A.  It's a wonderful opportunity for patrons to ask the actors and  director such questions as how characters are created, what goes into selecting a season of plays, and where they have previously worked.  Actors in this production have a variety of backgrounds, including performing in regional theater, film and on Broadway, and are ages 12 on up.

Original New York Cast to Dance CAGNEY to the West Coast

In honor of Hollywood's 'tough guy in tap shoes' James Cagney, who would have turned 118 today, producer Riki Kane Larimer (On The Town, Gigi, West End's Memphis) announced the West Coast Premiere of the hit musical CAGNEY.

East Lynne Theater Company Presents AH, WILDERNESS

'The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayam!'  That's the best of all!  'A jug of wine, a loaf of bread, and thou beside me singing in the wilderness,' announces seventeen-year old Richard, defending his choice of literature to his parents. His letters to seventeen-year-old Muriel contain quotes from Khayam and Swinburne.

Fulton Theatre to Present Pennsylvania Premiere of Disney's NEWSIES

The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre will present the Pennsylvania Premiere of the Tony Award-winning musical Disney's Newsies, June 6 through July 23. The inspirational Disney's Newsies, based on the real-life Newsboys strike of 1899 and the 1992 film, was the toast of Broadway for more than two years.
