Academy Award nominated actor Edward Norton makes his first appearance as SNL host on October 26. Norton will next be on screen in the 2014 feature films, “The Grand Budapest Hotel” and “Birdman.”

NBC confirmed today that the screen star is set to host the Oct. 26 broadcast, with Janelle Monae serving as the featured musical guest. This marks Norton's first time hosting the long-running variety show, though has made cameos multiple times.

ABC News president Ben Sherwood announced in a memo this morning, Friday, October 11th, that NIGHTLINE co-anchor Bill Weir will be exiting the late–night news show. Dan Harris is set to be his replacement. No further details have been released at this time.
