With his new sonic experiment and journey into electric, eclectic tropicalized, funky pop music, Jose Conde re-emerges from the New York Afro Cuban music cocoon with Moog synthesizer, looper, Yamaha vintage organ, wah-wah electric guitar, acoustic and electric beats, and a slew of new signature songs on his upcoming album. Souls Alive in the 305 (out May 20th on PiPiKi Records) is Conde's ambitious second solo album recorded between Brooklyn and Miami in a five-year span produced by him with co-production help from Miami legend DJ Spam (Andrew Yeomanson).

The 2022 Burlington Discover Jazz Festival—produced by the Flynn in association with Burlington City Arts, and presented by New England Federal Credit Union—takes place June 3-12, with events all over Downtown Burlington and beyond. The Flynn will welcome Michael Mwenso, leader of the captivating band Mwenso & The Shakes and co-founder of Electric Root, and his creative partner Jono Gasparro as the curators for this year's festival.

Yesterday, the Red Hot Chili Peppers appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote their latest release, their twelfth studio album. Unlimited Love [Warner Records] was released yesterday, April 1st. 

To celebrate the album’s arrival, the band shared the music video for new single “These Are The Ways.” Directed by Malia James, the visual unfolds with the twists and turns of a classic seventies flick down to its Scorsese-ian tracking shots and after-dark action. The Lucille Lortel Theatre has announced its new holiday performance series, Tinsel: A Global Holiday Celebration. Running from December 6-31, live performances will be held at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, showcasing effervescent live music, performance, and dance with leading artists from around the globe.
