Bernard Labadie will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct Mozart's Requiem; J.S. Bach's Cantata No. 51, Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen!; and Handel's 'Let the Bright Seraphim' from Samson. The program's soloists will include soprano Miah Persson, mezzo- soprano Stephanie Blythe, tenor Frederic Antoun in his Philharmonic debut, bass Andrew Foster- Williams, Philharmonic Principal Trumpet Philip Smith, and the New York Choral Artists directed by Joseph Flummerfelt. Know Theatre of Cincinnati is thrilled to announce its fall show, Bull by Mike Bartlett. Bull will open November 1, 2013 and run through November 30, 2013. Bull is the companion piece to COCK, also by Mike Bartlett, produced by Know Theatre in the spring of 2013. The cast is comprised of Kate Glasheen, Dylan Shelton, and Jay Stratton*, and George Alexander and is directed by Brian Robertson with lighting and scenic design by Andrew Hungerford, sound design by Doug Borntrager, and costume design by Noelle Wedig. Know Theatre of Cincinnati Presents COCK, Opening 4/12

Know Theatre has announced the regional premiere of COCK by Mike Bartlett as our next mainstage production. This will be only the second American production following its premiere at the Royal Court Theatre, London. COCK opens April 12, 2013 and runs through May 11, 2013. Brian Robertson, who currently teaches in the Theatre and Dance Department at Northern Kentucky University, will direct this production. Some of his past directing credits include Camelot at the Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center and A Flowering Tree at Cincinnati Opera. COCK features performances from Darnell Pierre Benjamin, Kevin Thornton, Danielle Knox, and George Alexander. (more...)
