Paper Mill Playhouse opened Smokey Joe's Café, directed by Mark S. Hoebee with choreography by Denis Jones on April 7, 2010. BroadwayWorld was on hand at the Millburn theater to capture the evening. The production runs through May 2, 2010.

The Peccadillo Theater Company will hold its annual benefit, in support of its upcoming production of Lillian Hellman's Another Part of the Forest, on Monday evening , April 12th at 6:30PM at the historic Players Club located at 16 Gramercy Park South. This year, Peccadillo will be honoring TONY and Academy Award-winning actor, Patricia Neal, with Peccadillo's Legends of the American Theater Award. Ms. Neal won the first-ever TONY Award for her performance as 'Regina Hubbard' in Lillian Hellman's Another Part of the Forest (1946), the rarely seen prequel to The Little Foxes.

Glen Roven, Peter Fitzgerald, and Richard Cohen recently announced the formation of a new CD label, GPR Records, (www.GPRRecords.com), which will record and distribute Broadway, classical, spoken word, and children's music. GPR aims to surprise listeners with recordings that are both unusual and entertaining. Last night on April 4th, the group presented 'Poetic License: 100 Poems by 100 Performers' at The Bowery in celebration of the release of its first recording. BroadwayWorld was there to capture the event.
