'THE 12', an original rock musical written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Robert Schenkkan, with music, lyrics, and story concept by award winning composer, Neil Berg made its world premiere at Riverspace in Nyack, NY, from March 19 - 21, 2010 before opening the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, April 1st in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

After selling out NYC's first revival of Caroline, or Change this winter, The Gallery Players is proud to open the spring with Arthur Millers' classic The Crucible. Directed by The Gallery Players' Artistic Director Heather Siobhan Curran, the 1953 Tony Award winner for Best Play opens Saturday, March 20 2010.

EBE Ensemble (Eric Alba, Artistic Director; Montgomery Sutton, Executive Director) will present the third-annual installment of their award winning festival of new one-act plays, Elephants on Parade 2010. Performances will begin on Tuesday, March 9, opening Wednesday, March 10 through March 20 at New York's Teatro IATI (64 E. 4th street, between 2nd Avenue and Bowery).

Brad Little, famous for his lead role in the Broadway tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'The Phantom of the Opera,' will star in a benefit concert for California Musical Theatre alongside his wife Barbara McCulloh, on May 9, 2010 at the intimate Cosmopolitan Cabaret.

Gingold Theatrical Group and Project Shaw celebrated St. Patrick's Day at Players Club with George Bernard Shaw scenes and snippets, plus Irish music and traditional corned-beef and cabbage dinner last night, March 17, 2010, as part of it's second annual St. Patrick's Day Gala. Quentin Earl Darrington, who recently starred as Coalhouse Walker Jr. in the Broadway revival of RAGTIME, will take to the stage in the same role at the Drury Lane Oakbrook Theater beginning March 18 and running through March 23.

Sing for Hope (www.singforhope.org), an 'artists' peace corps' that mobilizes world-class artists in volunteer service programs that benefit schools, hospitals and communities, has collaborated with The Metropolitan Museum of Art to create Bringing It To YOU - a multidisciplinary arts day of gallery tours and featured performances for New York City school children. The event, presented by Sing for Hope, took place at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on March 4, 2010 with the performance beginning at 2:30pm at the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium. Philadelphia playwright Bruce Graham, who penned the highly acclaimed new play Any Given Monday, is moonlighting as an actor - joining the cast when Any Given Monday moves to the Act II stage March 3-28. Act II Associate Artistic Director Harriet Power directs this sharp-tongued 'comedy of morals', co-produced with Center City-based Theatre Exile.

On Monday, March 1, The Computer School once again hosted the 'Broadway Stars Rock for School Music' fundraiser. The annual concert raises money for the Computer School music program. Past fundraisers have included the participation of Broadway bigwigs Terrance Mann, Brad Little, Charlotte d'Amboise, Jennifer Prescott, and Sean McCourt.
