Final casting is announced for the special one-night-only reading of Stan Richardson's VERITAS to benefit Lambda Legal. The drama started at Camp Wawanakwa with Total Drama Island, went Hollywood for Total Drama Action, and now travels the globe with the all-new Total Drama World Tour, premiering Monday, June 21 at 9 p.m. (ET, PT) on Cartoon Network. Seventeen contestants - including some favorites from the past and some new faces - will duke it out on an international playing field for a grand prize of $1 million dollars. Host Chris McLean and his cohort Chef are back with Total Drama's signature painful and embarrassing challenges, this time taking advantage of the world's most famous landmarks and natural wonders.

The iconoclastic British singer Barb Jungr, who is best known for her amazing deconstructions of songs by American rockers, is releasing 'The Men I Love,' her new album which she subtitles 'The New American Songbook.' Her celebration of the U.S. release of this new title from NAIM Label (distributed in the U.S. by Allegro) on May 11 will come to a close at the Metropolitan Room on May 23.

Fifth Season Of HGTV DESIGN STAR Premieres 6/13

HGTV's top-rated reality competition, HGTV Design Star, will return for a fifth season beginning Sunday, June 13, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Shot in New York City, the series will feature 12 creative finalists as they audition for their own show on HGTV. The finalists include Courtland Bascon, Los Angeles; Stacey Cohen, Chicago; Dan Faires, New York City; Nina Ferrer, New York City; Tera Hampton, Austin, Texas; Emily Henderson, Los Angeles; Trent Hultgren, Venice, Calif.; Julie Khuu, Santa Ana, Calif.; Michael Moeller, New York City; Casey Noble, Redondo Beach, Calif.; Alex Sanchez, Upper Marlboro, Md.; and Tom Vecchione, New York City. The series will air on Sundays for 11 weeks through August 22.

William Michals To Cover Szot in SOUTH PACIFIC, 6/1-7/4

It has been announced that baritone William Michals assumes the role of Emile de Becque in Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, for a five week period beginning Tuesday, June 1st through Sunday, July 4th. The production's current Emile de Becque, Tony Award winner Paulo Szot, leaves the musical on May 30 for an opera engagement in Europe. He returns to South Pacific on July 6, 2010 and will play the role through the end of the show's run on Broadway on August 22..

Previews will begin today at Virginia's Signature Theatre for the world premiere musical Sycamore Trees written by Ricky Ian Gordon, the award-winning composer of the opera The Grapes of Wrath and the musicals Dream True and My Life with Albertine. A starry Broadway cast portrays Gordon's own family story - complete with a tough Bronx-born father and former 'Borscht Belt' singer/comedian mother - in a tale of two generations' struggles and triumphs in the decades from World War II through the 1990s.

The Town Hall's critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year's®10th Anniversary Season presented The Broadway Musicals of 1966, a year that brought us iconic shows such as, Cabaret, Mame, I Do! I Do!, Sweet Charity and The Apple Tree, last night, May 10. Overflowing with famous songs from major hit shows, the evening featured more dance numbers than any other Town Hall Broadway by the Year® concert this season. The evening was directed, choreographed and starred Jeffry Denman (who will be going to Broadway next season with this year's Off-Broadway hit musical, Yank!, which he also choreographed).
