Fifth Season Of HGTV DESIGN STAR Premieres 6/13

HGTV's top-rated reality competition, HGTV Design Star, will return for a fifth season beginning Sunday, June 13, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Shot in New York City, the series will feature 12 creative finalists as they audition for their own show on HGTV. The finalists include Courtland Bascon, Los Angeles; Stacey Cohen, Chicago; Dan Faires, New York City; Nina Ferrer, New York City; Tera Hampton, Austin, Texas; Emily Henderson, Los Angeles; Trent Hultgren, Venice, Calif.; Julie Khuu, Santa Ana, Calif.; Michael Moeller, New York City; Casey Noble, Redondo Beach, Calif.; Alex Sanchez, Upper Marlboro, Md.; and Tom Vecchione, New York City. The series will air on Sundays for 11 weeks through August 22.
Gordon's SYCAMORE TREES at Signature Closes 6/13

Previews will begin today at Virginia's Signature Theatre for the world premiere musical Sycamore Trees written by Ricky Ian Gordon, the award-winning composer of the opera The Grapes of Wrath and the musicals Dream True and My Life with Albertine. A starry Broadway cast portrays Gordon's own family story - complete with a tough Bronx-born father and former 'Borscht Belt' singer/comedian mother - in a tale of two generations' struggles and triumphs in the decades from World War II through the 1990s.

The 2009 Drama Desk Award winner and 2010 Bistro Award winner Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words also featured Mario Cantone, Dick Cavett, Jackie Hoffman, Kristen Johnston, Eugene Pack, Dayle Reyfel, Sherri Shepherd, and Alan Zweibel. Kelli O'Hara, who won critical acclaim for her performance as Nellie Forbush in Lincoln Center Theater's production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC will return to the production on Tuesday, August 10 and perform the role through Sunday, August 22 when the musical plays the final performance of its record-breaking run at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. It has been announced that baritone William Michals assumes the role of Emile de Becque in Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, for a five week period beginning Tuesday, June 1st through Sunday, July 4th. The production's current Emile de Becque, Tony Award winner Paulo Szot, leaves the musical on May 30 for an opera engagement in Europe. He returns to South Pacific on July 6, 2010 and will play the role through the end of the show's run on Broadway on August 22..
