Fresh off the heels of their critically acclaimed revival of Happy Birthday, Wanda June, Wheelhouse Theater Company and its Founding Members, Matt Harrington, David Kenner, Michael Schantz, and Jeffrey Wise, has announced that it will present the New York Premiere of Aaron Posner's Life Sucks., March 22nd through April 20th at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street). The cast features Jeff Biehl, Nadia Bowers, Kimberly Chatterjee, Barbara Kingsley, Stacey Linnertz, Austin Pendleton, and Michael Schantz. Wheelhouse's Jeff Wise directs the production, which will have its official opening night on March 27th at 7:00PM. 

After fantastic audience and critical response, BAREFOOT, a daring new sexual escapade by Kate T. Billingsley and Thomas G. Waites, will extend through March 2 at the Gene Frankel Theatre when it began performances on January 24. BAREFOOT is produced by Black Rose Productions and directed by Thomas G. Waites (Awake and Sing! with Frances McDormand, Al Pacino's King Richard III).

Thursday Night Theater Club announce their cast of fourteen for The Elephant Man by playwright Bernard Pomerance.  Robyn Cohen is delighted to be at the helm with such a notable group of actors.   The production opens at El Portal Theatre. August Strindberg Rep will present Strindberg's 'The Father,' newly translated and directed by Robert Greer, in rotation with '#MeThree,' an evening of three original short one-acts by resident playwright Natalie Menna, in rotating rep from November 9 to December 1. The two evenings are designed to enable audiences of the #MeToo era to examine the war between the sexes from both a classical and a modern perspective. Performances are at Gene Frankel Theatre, 24 Bond Street (between Bowery and Lafayette, East Village).

Asher Gelman & Matthew Hui have announced that WE ARE THE TIGERS, an original pop/rock musical and teen horror comedy written & composed by Preston Max Allen, will make its New York Premiere Off-Broadway in February 2019. Michael Bello will direct the pitch-black comedy about a dismally low-ranking team of cheerleaders terrorized by a serial killer. Patrick Sulken is the Music Supervisor.
