Broadway in Hollywood has announced that PRETTY WOMAN: The Musical, set in 1980s Hollywood, will celebrate its Los Angeles Premiere in Hollywood at the Dolby Theatre from June 15 to July 3, 2022.

Boston Court Pasadena has announced five additional performances of its first in-person, onstage production since early 2020, the world premiere of Both And (a play about laughing while black) by Carolyn Ratteray. I had the opportunity to see PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, during its visit to The Bushnell in Hartford. Based on one of Hollywood’s most beloved 1990’s movies that launched America’s sweetheart, Julia Roberts, into stardom. Fans of the movie will be happy to see that the story hasn’t dramatically changed and includes all the fun, quotable lines (like, “Big Mistake. Huge!”) and unforgettable moments, like the spicy piano scene.
