Broadway in Indianapolis and the producers of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL announced that single tickets for the upcoming tour engagement in Indianapolis are on sale now. 

Five new cast members, Patrick Barrett, Elly Jay, Annabelle Laing, Will Luckett and Cilla Silvia will be joining the cast of Pretty Woman the Musical at the Savoy Theatre.

The Blank Theatre is now seeking submissions from playwrights 19 years of age and younger for its 30th Annual Young Playwrights Festival. Submissions must be made online or postmarked by March 15, 2022.

 Legendary stage and film actresses Phyllis Yvonne Stickney and Jennifer Leigh Warren are coming to St. Pete to perform in American Stage’s production of School Girls; or The African Mean Girls Play, running Feb. 2 – Feb. 27, 2022.

Due to breakthrough COVID-19 cases in the touring production of Pretty Woman: The Musical, all performances through December 19, 2021, at the CIBC Theatre, have been cancelled.

EgoPo Classic Theater in Philadelphia will return to the indoor stage with its production of Alice Childress’s groundbreaking play, Wine in the Wilderness, as part of their 2021-2022 Season of Awakenings and Transformations. 

What is becoming a holiday tradition at the Garry Marshall Theatre, the latest edition of HOLIDAZE HARMONY world premieres livestream December 15th, newly titled HOLIDAZE HARMONY: A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS. Garry Marshall Theatre’s artistic director Joseph Leo Bwarie directs long-time friends Terron Brooks and Kamilah Marshall in channeling their stunning vocals in HOLIDAZE songs. The Kimmel Cultural Campus presents the Philadelphia premiere of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, based on one of Hollywood's most beloved romantic comedies of all time, at the Academy of Music, running Tuesday, January 4 through Sunday, January 16.

Theater J's Artistic Director Adam Immerwahr and Managing Director David Lloyd Olson announce the winner of the 2021 Patty Abramson Jewish Play Prize Maggie Lou Rader with her play The Helpers. The Theater J Patty Abramson Jewish Play Prize awards $3,000 and a stage reading to a promising emerging woman playwright in honor of a new play that celebrates, explores, and/or struggles with the complexities and nuances of the Jewish experience.

The Troubies’ Holidaze show SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN’ TO MOTOWN will open at the Garry Marshall Theatre November 23, 2021. Troubies’ artistic director Matt Walker directs the talented cast of veteran Troubies with some Noubies. A hilarious mainstay of many a Troubie production Rick Batalla took some time from his daily antics to fill me in on some behind-the-scenes of his history with the Troubadour Theater Company.

After two years of producing the Waa-Mu Show virtually, the co-chairs of Northwestern University's 91st Annual Waa-Mu Show have announced the show will move back to Cahn Auditorium, 600 Emerson St., on the Evanston campus.

Hennepin Theatre Trust and the producers of Pretty Woman: The Musical is making its Minnesota debut at the historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis) Tuesday, Feb. 22 to Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022.
