Philly Improv Theater Presents Eight Original Comedy Shows In 2019 Fringe Festival

Philly Improv Theater (PHIT) announces that they will have eight shows as part of the 2019 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. PHIT most recently participated in the 2018 Festival in their home at the Adrienne Theater. 'We are showcasing many of our longtime performers challenging themselves in new ways. We are also welcoming artists new to the theater to bridge the worlds of alternative and traditional comedy,' said Mike Marbach, artistic director of the theater.

BLINK OF AN EYE Races Into Select Movie Theaters Nationwide September 12 Only

Based on the inspiring life story of NASCAR icons Michael Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt Sr., the high-octane documentary “Blink of an Eye” is set to race into select cinemas nationwide this September. The film features interviews with Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt Jr. along with former Executive Vice President of Motorsports for Dale Earnhardt Inc., Ty Norris, as well as NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard Petty and Richard Childress. The cinema event also includes a special audio cameo by country music star, Trace Adkins. Additionally, fans will view a historical vignette on how the sport was born from renegade backwoods“moonshining,” a never seen interview of Dale Earnhardt Sr. by NASCAR legend Benny Parsons, a profile of Lee and Richard Petty with rare footage, plus a special “Blink of an Eye” video from singer Bobby Capps, by iconic rock band 38 Special backed by musicians from multi-platinum band 3 Doors Down.

With more than 1,000 artists and more than 500 free events in three new sunlit pavilions and more than 130,000 square feet of new landscaped green space at the nation's cultural capital, the REACH opens its doors in exactly one month's time with 16 full days of creativity in action, providing artists and audiences with the opportunity to experience art as never before. Pleasance Launches 35th Season at Edinburgh Fringe

Back for their 35th season at the Fringe with more than 270 shows, the Pleasance launches this year's impressive programme in grand style. The Pleasance offers some of the biggest names in entertainment, much-loved returning acts and exciting newcomers. This year also marks a number of big anniversaries with the dedicated children's programme at the Kidzone celebrating its 10th anniversary and the 15th anniversary of the highly renowned Comedy Reserve, part of the Pleasance's Charlie Hartill Special Reserve. At this morning's opening gala, nine fantastic acts come together to combine technical skill with infinite artistry and offer a taste of the talent and excellence available at the Pleasance this August.

Underground Hip Hop Artist Teez Drops Breezy New Single MURDA

Birthed by the biggest little city, nurtured in the shadows of the Sierra Mountains, is a Tongan rap artist (Taholo Vainuku), who in honor of his people, goes by the stage name of Teez. He is set to release his powerful debut album R.E.N.O (Real Everything No Ops) on Friday, September 27th via tastemaker label Mensch House Records! Teez has already released the sweet first single off the album “Lit Bae,” and premiered themusic video for it on Ghettoblaster Magazine. The breezy second single “Murda” drops today, and is a positive song perfect for driving down the highway along the beach!

Rising multi-instrumental virtuoso, songwriter and producer Nate Mercereau unveils the video for “Righteous Energy” today via Mxdwn.
