Minnesota Orchestra And Music Director Osmo Vänskä To Present Concerts Of Remembrance and Reflection

Minnesota Orchestra and Music Director Osmo Vänskä will perform two concerts on Friday, May 14 and Friday, May 28 that have been programmed in response to the turbulence in Minneapolis and the world over the past year, particularly with regard to issues of racial equity and police violence against Black Americans. Both concerts will be televised live on Twin Cities PBS (TPT); broadcast live on YourClassical Minnesota Public Radio; and streamed live online for free at minnesotaorchestra.org at 8:00 p.m. CT.

Boston Baroque Announces THE X-TET: A CONCERT DOCUMENTARY FILM

Boston Baroque has announced the release of an upcoming concert documentary film introducing the X-tet, Boston Baroque's new period string chamber ensemble. The virtual special will provide viewers with a look behind the scenes of a weeklong residency, giving an up-close view of the group's artistic process in preparing the inaugural performance of the X-tet, and featuring exclusive interviews with the musicians about their time working and growing together as an ensemble. 

Toronto Symphony Orchestra Starts 2021 With Two New TSO On Demand Concerts

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) continues its 2020/21 season of TSO On Demand concerts with two Masterworks programs: Beethoven Septet (February 12–March 4) and Vivaldi's Four Seasons (March 12–April 1). Concertmaster Jonathan Crow curated both programs. Tickets for both Beethoven Septet and Vivaldi's Four Seasons go on sale on January 19, 2021.

Pianist Simone Dinnerstein Gives Virtual Concerts For Duke Performances and Meany Center For The Performing Arts
