Remote Theater Project's GREY ROCK Will Tour Four U.S. Cities In January and February

Remote Theater Project announces that its production of Grey Rock, written and directed by Palestinian artist Amir Nizar Zuabi, will travel to four U.S. cities from January 8-February 9, 2020. Commissioned by Remote Theater Project, Grey Rock marks the first time a U.S. theater company has commissioned a Palestinian artist to create an original work for American audiences.

The Tale of the Allergist's Wife enters its second weekend! The production features Deborah Burke, Andrea Garmun, Randye Kaye, Cody Knox and Jeff Pliskin. Performances run from November 29th through December 15th, on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays, with a Thursday performance on December 5th at 8:00 p.m. Frederic Tisch directs the play, which is produced by David Victor.

Inaugural YIDDISHFEST Announces Full Lineup of Events

The Yiddishkayt Initiative (YI) (Avi Hoffman, Producing Artistic Director) and Theater for the New City (Crystal Field, Artistic Director) have announced the full lineup of events for the inaugural YI Love New York YiddishFest. This selection of performances, screenings, and discussions centered around Jewish culture and Yiddish entertainment will play several New York City venues from December 21-29. The Cantors lead three vibrant congregations in the New York area—Azi Schwartz at Park Avenue Synagogue, Yaakov (Yanky) Lemmer at Lincoln Square Synagogue and Netanel Hershtik at the Hamptons Synagogue.

Their concert aired on PBS and has been seen by millions of viewers on over 150 channels. The Cantors lead three vibrant congregations in the New York area-Azi Schwartz at Park Avenue Synagogue, Yaakov (Yanky) Lemmer at Lincoln Square Synagogue and Netanel Hershtik at the Hamptons Synagogue. The free concert will take place on Wednesday, June 12, at SummerStage in Central Park, E 72nd Street near 5th Ave. Admission is free, seating is on a first-come, first served basis. Doors open at 6 pm. The concert begins at 7 pm.
