Ailey II, the celebrated second company to Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, returns to its home, The Ailey Citigroup Theater, for a highly anticipated two-week season featuring 10 performances from March 23 - April 3.

Baryshnikov Arts Center has announced the launch of BAC Open, an artist residency program providing critical support to six artists and their collaborators developing projects of dance, theater, music, and multimedia.

Ailey II will return to stages across the country this winter. Ailey II Artistic Director Francesca Harper—an internationally renowned performer, choreographer, director, and multi-disciplinary artist—is nurturing new creative voices and propelling the Company forward during her inaugural season.

The critically-acclaimed dance troupe Ailey II spotlights a repertoire of modern dance created by a diverse array of dynamic choreographers when it comes to Popejoy Hall on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 7:30 pm.

From January 11 through May 8, audiences across the country will have the opportunity to experience the extraordinary artistry of Ailey with a cornucopia of performances and programs, including two national tours—by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Ailey II—as well as the nationwide broadcast of the acclaimed documentary film AILEY, with its immersive portrait of dance pioneer Alvin Ailey, and the continuation of Ailey All Access, the organization's digital programming for all audiences.

Works & Process will continue its fall 2021 Season with more evening performances in the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Peter B. Lewis Theater this November and December at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, 1071 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10128.
