There’s no place like home for the holidays as Tacoma Little Theatre continues its 103rd Season, “The Start of Something New”, with The Wizard of OZ. Based on the classic MGM movie musical and the book by L. Frank Baum , The Wizard of OZ is directed and choreographed by Andrew Coopman, with musical direction by Jeff Bell. 

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley will celebrate the holidays with It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. This heartwarming holiday production, adapted by Joe Landry from the screenplay by Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett, Frank Capra, and Jo Swerling, offers the 1946 film as a 1940s era radio play, complete with live foley-style sound effects.

On October 16 Marilyn Maxfield Hunt of Santa Fe passed away in her home surrounded by family. Over the course of her writing career, she interviewed many important figures from the dance world including Igor Youskevitch, Anton Dolin, Eugene Loring, Gene Kelly, Joseph Duell and Daniel Duell and more.

The new film will be shown for free in IMAX theaters world-wide, followed by a live Q&A with Joel Coen and Frances McDormand at AMC Lincoln Square, livestreamed across select IMAX theaters in North America.
