On November 16, the French Institute Alliance Française held the eclectic and innovative Le Petit Gala Outside the Box soirée. The evening had a livestreamed performance and offered festive dinner boxes to enjoy from home. More than 1,000 people watched this celebration of FIAF's artistic voice, featuring performances at FIAF's Florence Gould Hall.

Once called 'The Maria Callas of American Musical Theater' Melissa Errico has joined forces with New Yorker essayist Adam Gopnik in a French-themed concert series that debuts October 14th.

New York City-based classical dance company Tom Gold Dance will give a livestream performance of Tom Gold Dance Founder and Director Tom Gold's All the Lonely People (2015) from the Nave of the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 6:30PM EDT. This will represent the Company's first digital livestream of a complete work.

Due to ongoing concerns related to the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, New York City-based classical dance company Tom Gold Dance has cancelled its 2020 fall season, which was to have been held Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14 at Florence Gould Hall at the French Institute Alliance Française.

Celebrating the tradition of innovation in America's partnered dance form, the Lindy Hop, acclaimed choreographer and Dance Magazine cover star Caleb Teicher, along with several Lindy Hop champions, brings the joy, fire, and fight of competitive and social swing dance to the Guggenheim stage. Prior to the August premiere of Swing 2020 at the Joyce Theater, Teicher, his collaborators, Evita Arce, LaTasha Barnes, and Nathan Bugh, and composer Eyal Vilner discuss their creative process, and the acclaimed cast members perform sections of the show accompanied by the Eyal Vilner Big Band.

This fall the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) celebrates the work and career of the great French actress Isabelle Adjani with the CinéSalon series Magnetic Gaze: Isabelle Adjani on Screen. Running each Tuesday from September 10 to October 29, this series honors one of France's greatest actresses, lauded for the unparalleled intensity and sensuality she brought to roles that inspired multiple generations of directors. Adjani, who began her acting career on the stage at the Comédie-Française, will also be performing at FIAF in Opening Night(Sept 12–14), which will be presented as part of the Crossing the Line Festival.
