Broadway star Janet Dacal is releasing her debut solo album My Standards in digital and streaming formats today, Friday, February 7. It will be released on CD on Friday, February 14.

The fun flavor of the 1970s is a?oeStayin' Alivea?? at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre with its premiere production of Saturday Night Fever, now on stage.

Indie rock band, Brother Moses, has premiered the new video, “What Does It Take?,” with ThrdCoast. “What Does It Take?” is the latest single from the band's upcoming album, Desperation Pop, on March 6th, 2020. Engineered by Calvin Lauber (The Band CAMINO, Julien Baker), Desperation Pop is the follow up to Brother Moses' 2018's debut LP, Magnolia.

The Guthrie Theater (Joseph Haj, artistic director) today announced SITI Company's cast and creative team for the riveting ancient tale The Bacchae, written by Euripides, translated by Aaron Poochigian and directed by celebrated SITI Company co-founder Anne Bogart. The globally renowned acting company's debut on the Guthrie's mainstage offers a rare opportunity for local theatergoers to experience this influential Greek tragedy through a contemporary lens.

Ring ring, it's life on the line. An unsuspecting woman becomes deeply involved in the hilarious wiles of a stranger's life. His phone won't stop ringing (and he's not exactly able to answer) so she picks up the phone down the proverbial rabbit hole she goes. Sarah Ruhl penned the romantic comedy that Peter Amster will direct. The show will run in the Cook Theatre from February 19 through March 8, with a pay-what-you-can (minimum $5, day of performance) preview night on February 18.

Live electronic disruptors Giolì & Assia announce today they will be returning to the U.S. in the Spring to continue their North American tour beginning on April 24th. The 10-city tour will kick off in Tulum, Mexico before hitting markets in Austin, Dallas, Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Seattle, and Portland before wrapping on August 2nd in Montreal, QC. 

Songwriter, singer, and multi-disciplinary artist Jehnny Beth will release her debut solo album, To Love Is To Live, on May 8th, 2020 via Caroline Records. The record, which was recorded in Los Angeles, London, and Paris, features a number of collaborators, including producers Flood, Atticus Ross, and longtime co-creator Johnny Hostile, and guest turns from the xx's Romy Madley Croft, actor Cillian Murphy, and IDLES' Joe Talbot.

On 30 April, Todd Phillips' ground-breaking, award-winning film Joker will be screened with the accompaniment of a live orchestra playing composer Hildur Guðnadóttir's award-winning score for the first time ever, for a limited engagement. The tour's World Premiere will take place at London's Eventim Apollo on the 30th before it embarks on an international schedule.
