Over 65 actors of MENASA descent were virtually screened and performed for an exclusive television and film industry panel last Saturday, part of a diversity initiative produced by Studio For Performing Arts LA (SPALA) and MENA Arts Advocacy Coalition (MAAC).

Triple-threat talent is on the rise this week as New York City's most popular on-camera program for Kids & Teens returned to the historic Film Center. Created by Director Walid Chaya, performers ages 7-16 break into the industry and train with 12 Casting Directors, Talent Agents and Broadway Stars in one jam-packed week.

Broadway stars visit Actors Connection Performing Arts Camp and share their stories and tools for success with emerging talent ages 7-16 participating in the weeklong acting program. Brooklyn Shuck (Les Miserables (Ensemble & Young Cosette & Young Eponine U/S), Matilda (Matilda), Tuck Everlasting (Ensemble/Swing)) and Michael Wartella (Wicked (Boq), Tuck Everlasting (Hugo)) led a Q & A panel followed by autographs on July 19 th at Actors Connection New York.
Another successful Performing Arts Camp, a week-long event in NYC by Actors Connection for Kids & Teens (ages 7-16), will feature two Broadway stars: Michael Wartella (Chasing Rainbows, Wicked, Tuck Everlasting) and Brooklyn Shuck (Les Miserables, Matilda, Tuck Everlasting).
