Stars from THE LION KING and More Set for Actors Connection Camp This Week

Broadway Stars Nala Hamilton from Disney's The Lion King and Felicia Finley from Mamma Mia, Aida, Smokey Joe's Café, and nearly a dozen more industry guests will make an appearance at Actors Connection Summer Camp this week. Scroll down for photos from the July session!

Actors Connection Performing Arts Camp is the leading professional summer program for ages 7-16 of all backgrounds ready to take their acting skills to the next level with 12 Casting Directors, Talent Agents and Broadway Stars in one jam-packed week.

Created by SDC Director Walid Chaya, the interactive program allows Kids & Teens to work with TV, film, commercial and theater specialists and leave camp with tools necessary for a career in entertainment.

This session meets Monday to Friday of July 24-28 from 9am to 4pm.

- Meet & Greet plus Q&A with Broadway Stars
- Acting Master Classes with TV/Film Casting Directors
- On-Camera Events with Commercial Casting Directors
- Representation Showcase with NY Talent Agents & Managers
- Movie Making and Film/TV Styles with Director and DP

Actors also receive a complimentary one-on-one session with Maria Wilson, NY Photographer, for a new headshot to use with casting and representation. Past participants have landed representation or auditions for major NY & LA productions.
