The 2021 BorderLight International Theatre + Fringe Festival announces the lineup for the 2021 BorderLight VIRTUAL Fringe Festival, which includes 33 distinct live streamed and on-demand virtual works, interactive and genre-bending online experiences, as well as self-guided audio adventures.

The Public Theater announced today the return of THE LINE, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen and directed by Blank. First performed live on Zoom on July 8, 2020, the world premiere play was viewed more than 55,000 times in 18 countries during its limited streaming run last summer.

The New York Times has reported that due to the ongoing health crisis, theatrical work streamed online and shows that were scheduled to be staged in person but were canceled, will now be eligible for the Pulitzer Prize for drama.

The world premiere play THE LINE, which premiered live on July 8, has been extended an additional four weeks for on demand streaming through Tuesday, September 1 at 11:59pm est on The Public's YouTube.

The Public Theater's The Line, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen and directed by Blank, debuted on Wednesday, July 8 at 7:30 pm ET.
