American Conservatory Theater and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company announced today a two-week extension for the original film adaptation of The Bushwick Starr’s production of Animal Wisdom, created by and starring Heather Christian. Animal Wisdom will now be available for streaming through Sunday June 27, 2021.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company and American Conservatory Theater announced today an original film of The Bushwick Starr’s production of Animal Wisdom, created by and starring Heather Christian. Animal Wisdom is currently being filmed at Woolly Mammoth Theatre in Washington, D.C., in March of 2021, with a streaming release slated for Spring 2021. 

The Center at West Park will present Wistaria Project's first Feast Your Famine: a watch-and-play from November 13-16 at 7:30pm and November 17 at 6:30pm. 1-Night, 3-Night, and 5-Night admission passports are available on a sliding scale. Proceeds go to the presenting activists and artists.

The American Theatre Wing just presented the 2018 Jonathan Larson® Grants recipients are Jay Adana (music and lyrics), Andrew R. Butler & Andrew Farmer (music, lyrics, and book), Emily Kaczmarek& Zoe Sarnak (music, lyrics, and book), and Mark Sonnenblick(music and lyrics). The Bushwick Starr is collaborating with West Yorkshire Playhouse in presenting the world premiere of Animal Wisdom, a new music-theater piece by Obie Award-winning composer and performer Heather Christian (The TEAM's Mission Drift & The World is Round, BAM), in collaboration with acclaimed artist/performer Andrew Schneider (YOUARENOWHERE- 2015 OBIE award, 2016 Drama Desk nom.), director Mark Rosenblatt (Associate Artist, West Yorkshire Playhouse), and her genre-defying group, the Arbornauts. The show has just been extended through November 18.
