English National Ballet has announced that Aaron S. Watkin has been appointed as its new Artistic Director. He will take up the position in August 2023.

Superstars of the ballet world are joining the United Ukrainian Ballet’s production of Giselle by Alexei Ratmansky at the London Coliseum this September.  The Company will be joined by American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Principal Dancer Christine Shevchenko, English National Ballet (ENB) First Soloist Katja Khaniukova, Hamburg Ballet Principal Dancer Alexandr Trush and Alina Cojocaru (former principal dancer, The Royal Ballet; former lead principal, English National Ballet).  

Having received its world premiere at the London Coliseum in January 2022, Raymonda by English National Ballet's Artistic Director Tamara Rojo CBE, after Marius Petipa, will be performed at the Bristol Hippodrome (23 – 26 November 2022) and Southampton's Mayflower Theatre (30 November – 03 December 2022).

Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen announces the 2022–2023 season roster. The roster includes a diverse roster of dancers from around the world with 63 professional dancers. Five new dancers join the main company, six new dancers join Boston Ballet II (BBII), Boston Ballet’s second company, and eight Boston Ballet dancers received promotions for the upcoming season.

Royal Albert Hall Chief Executive Craig Hassall has been named Playhouse Square's new president and chief executive officer, replacing retiring CEO Gina Vernaci.

Royal Albert Hall CEO Craig Hassall will step down at the start of the 2023 season, having accepted a position as President and Chief Executive of Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Playhouse Square announced that Royal Albert Hall Chief Executive Craig Hassall has been named its new president and chief executive officer, replacing retiring CEO Gina Vernaci.

The company has also announced three new PBII dancers as well as several dancer promotions looking ahead to the upcoming 2022/2023 performance season.

The Joan W. and Irving B. Harris Theater for Music and Dance has appointed Merrillyn J. Kosier, retired Executive Vice President of Ariel Investments, as Chair of its Board of Trustees.

The eighth week of the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival 2022 welcomes Hubbard Street Dance Chicago to the Ted Shawn Theatre, from Aug. 10-14. Week 8 of the Festival will also feature Dance Heginbotham on the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage from August 10-14, and a performance by Liz Lerman with her new evening-length dance theater piece, Wicked Bodies, on the Jacob's Pillow grounds from August 10-13.
