Immersive Bloomsday Breakfast Announces Full Line-Up

New York's only immersive Bloomsday Breakfast -- hosted by Origin Theatre Company and Bloom's Tavern, 208 East 58th Street -- will be bursting with talent this year in an expanded edition, at a new time.  Landing on a Saturday, the June 16 free event will begin at 11:30am instead of the usual time and feature an expanded line-up of talent and a juried costume competition that will be bigger and more festive than ever.

On March 30, George Thorogood & The Destroyers' Bad To The Bone and Born To Be Bad albums, long out of print on vinyl, and the band's Greatest Hits: 30 Years Of Rockcollection, never before available on vinyl, will be released in special vinyl LP editions via Capitol/UMe. All three albums are available now for preorder on black vinyl LPs and in limited edition, 180-gram color vinyl editions, which are exclusively available for preorder from The Sound of Vinyl and George Thorogood & The Destroyers' online store. Origin's 1st Irish Gives Out Awards in New York Last Night

Origin's 1st Irish 2018, the world's only theatre festival dedicated to showcasing the work of contemporary Irish playwrights, handed out its Best of Festival Awards at closing night festivities at Rosie O'Grady's in Times Square last night. The awards were very evenly distributed among the seven productions in competition from Ireland and the US, but the life of the party was Isobel Mahon's comedy "Party Face," which picked up awards for Best Actress (its star Hayley Mills) and for Best Production. Produced by Robert Driemeyer, Morgan Sills and Jan Warner, the Irish hit's US premiere plays at City Center through April 8. Its New York-based cast includes Klea Blackhurst, Gina Costigan, Brenda Meaney and Allison Jean White.
