Cast Announced For SPIKE at the Darlington Hippodrome

Ian Hislop and Nick Newman’s new comedy, ‘Spike’, is coming to Darlington Hippodrome with a cast including Gavin and Stacey star Robert Wilfort alongside Mischief Theatre’s Patrick Warner and Jeremy Lloyd.

All new rehearsal photos have been released for the world premiere of SPIKE, a new comedy by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman. The title role will be played by Olivier Award-winning actor John Dagleish, with Stephen Fry voicing the BBC Announcer at The Watermill from Thursday 27 January – Saturday 5 March.

The Play That Goes Wrong, the Olivier Award-winning box office hit, today announces the casting for its return to the Duchess Theatre with performances from Friday 18 June 2021. Tickets are on sale now and the production is currently booking through to 30 January 2022.

The show's success is a testament to the hard work and determination of a group of drama school graduates who became friends, set up a company under the name 'Mischief' and created an extraordinary body of work. The Play That Goes Wrong shows no signs of slowing down since its first performance at a London fringe venue with only four paying customers. Since then, it has played to an audience of over two million and now has productions in over 30 countries.

BWW Review: ROTTERDAM, Rose Theatre

John Brittain's nuanced and tender play Rotterdam has had a whirlwind of success since it debuted in 2015 at the tiny Theatre503. It moved to the Trafalgar Studios, won an Olivier award, then moved to an off-Broadway slot before returning to the West End in 2017. It is now embarking on an extensive country-wide tour, kicking off at Kingston's Rose Theatre.

Casting has been announced for the exciting tour of Jon Brittain's Olivier award-winning production Rotterdam. Trans non-binary actor Lucy Jane Parkinson (Multi award-winning Joan, international tour; Communion, Young Vic; DragKing Cabaret artiste 'LoUis CYfer') will star as Fiona/Adrian, playing opposite Bethan Cullinane (Salt, Theatre503/RADA Festival/The Rosemary Branch, King Lear, RSC; Othello, Globe Theatre) as Alice.

Mischief Theatre To Tour Mischief Movie Night Starring The Original Cast Of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG

Mischief Theatre, the multi award-winning company behind the global smash hit comedy The Play That Goes Wrong, today announces a UK tour of Mischief Movie Night, the improvised movie live on stage. Direct from the West End and nominated for the 2018 Olivier Award for 'Best New Comedy', Mischief Movie Night opens at Oxford Playhouse on Wednesday 6 June, visiting a further six venues nationwide until 22 July 2018. Tickets are now on sale.*
