After a pandemic-induced hiatus of two years, Bridgehampton Chamber Music’s BCM Spring series returns in 2022 with three early-evening Saturday concerts in March, April, and May. With its four-week summer festival and the successful launch of BCM Autumn, a two-concert fall series, this past November, Long Island’s longest-running classical music festival now has close to a year-round presence in its East End home.

Continuing its momentum from a successful summer festival of in-person performances, Bridgehampton Chamber Music inaugurates its first fall series, BCM Autumn, that continues the 37-year-old organization's expansion beyond its summer festival (a BCM Spring mini-series began in 2015). More than 18,000 fifth grade students and 800 teachers from Utah schools will attend free concerts in February as part of the Utah Symphony's annual 'Fifth Grade Docent Concert' program. The concerts, conducted by Associate Conductor Conner Gray Covington, feature the finale from Igor Stravinsky's 'The Firebird Suite' and a virtual getaway to the Islands of Hawaii with 'Symphony of the Hawaiian Birds.'

Fifteen years, two goodbyes, and a reunion of dancers: that's how Miro Magloire celebrated the 15th season of New Chamber Ballet. Those goodbyes included founding member Elizabeth Brown and ten year veteran Sarah Atkins, both of whom have blessed the company with virtuosity and spiritual purity in their dancing.

Miro Magloire's New Chamber Ballet continues its series with the world premiere of Sanctum, set to music by two major composers, Kaija Saariaho and Karin Rehnqvist, with guest singers Charlotte Mundy, Mary Mackenzie, and Elisa Sutherland of Ekmeles joining the resident Magloire ensemble of dancers and musicians. Also on the program is Magloire's Morning Song, a solo to music by John Cage.
