Miro Magloire announces the April 15 & 16 performances of his New Chamber Ballet, an evening of Magloire works set to music by Mozart, Ravel, Paganini, and contemporary composers Karlheinz Stockhausen and Tristan Murail. The season will see the premiere of the complete Ravel'd, an excerpt of which was shown in February.

Choreographer Miro Magloire is a soft-spoken German visionary, and now an artful resident of New York. New Chamber Ballet, the love child of Magloire is a wellspring of opportunity for American dancers, six of whom graced the studio floor to rehearse steps and posture before Magloire's modest presence, his unmistakable visage light with the smile of a reputable life well-lived. Among his accomplishments are fifty ballets, not to mention a practitioner's ear for musical composition and a pioneering sense of purpose in the international dance community.

Two Muses Theatre will host a return of the limited engagement event, THE TWO MEDIUMS on Halloween weekend.  This popular event provides the audience an opportunity to receive a message from their departed loved ones.  It's about reconnecting heaven and earth, allowing these two mediums to bridge the two worlds and bring forth messages of love and comfort to audience members.  The question then becomes:  "Is this legitimate or a trick of the mind?"

Two Muses Theatre, a non-profit, professional theatre based in West Bloomfield, Michigan, will produce three musicals, two plays and some very special events in their fifth season.

Short Story Theatre presents an evening of storytelling and song with stories from Cyn Vargas, Rick Leslie, Joel Ramsey, and Elizabeth Brown, with a special appearance by singer/songwriter Al Day. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, November 17, at the Wilmette Theatre, 1122 Central Avenue in Wilmette. Notting Hill Publishing has announced that its first publication with T.R. Threston will be in bookstores in time for the holidays. The book is entitled 'La Famiglia Ricette' or 'My Family Recipes' is the first culinary travel cookbook penned by Threston, and, features photos by Robert Bonhomme, an award winning travel and fashion photographer who is based in Paris, France. The C.E.O. of Notting Hill Publishing, Elizabeth Brown said in a statement 'This is a huge step forward for us as an independent publisher. I am both thrilled and honored to have an author of Tina's (T.R. Threston) status and stellar reputation as our first culinary travel cookbook writer.' Brown went on to say that the book will be available online and in bookstores, and, book signings are being set up and will be announced shortly. She added 'Due to Tina's (T.R. Threston) very busy schedule, we need to keep book signings limited to the Northeast from now until after the holidays, but, we will be promoting the book heavily (both domestic and internationally) and book signings are in the works well into 2015.' When asked about the book Threston said 'It's been a labor of love. Cooking is very natural for me and I've never been one for writing down recipes. I'm absolutely a touch of this and pinch of that type of cook, so, having the opportunity to actually write these recipes down has been both a challenge and a joy.' When asked Threston explained the book isn't just a cookbook, but, rather an overview to Italy and offers tidbits and trivia you won't find in most other cookbooks. Of course, Threston's dry humor, for which she is well known, is weaved throughout the book making it a pleasure to read. And, the recipes included are well written with step by step instructions even for the novice cook. Bookstores interested in hosting a book signing with T.R. Threston are asked to contact us.
