​​​​​​​ The Bronx Music Heritage Center has announced its participation in the Evelina 100 campaign which will feature a week-long calendar of events to celebrate the legacy of Evelina Antonetty.

The Bronx Music Heritage Center (BMHC) has announced the latest slate of “Rock the Bronx” summer concerts on the plaza outside the Bronx Music Hall (438 East 163rd Street). The series features emerging artists from the borough and the surrounding area that span various genres bringing a variety of new sounds to the South Bronx throughout the summer.

In recognition of April as Jazz Appreciation Month the Bronx Music Heritage Center (BMHC) hosts  a discussion with Dr. Chris Washburne and BMHC co-artistic director Bobby Sanabria  about Washburne's latest book, Latin Jazz: The Other Jazz. This discussion will focus on why this genre of jazz is deserving of more appreciation from the jazz world.

The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment has announced the addition of a fourth New York Music Month Extended Play event category – Youth Programming. This new category joins Resources for Musicians, NYMM Talks and Performances + Workshops.

Trustus Theatre will host FEST24: Homecoming online in October. This virtual experience will provide a new take on the theatre's popular 24-hour theatre event that was last presented in 2018 for a standing-room-only public performance. Six playwrights, six directors, and twenty-four actors will produce six new virtual one-acts over the course of three weekends.

The Ballet Hispanico School of Dance offers adult dance and fitness classes that will keep you moving, fit, and energized.
