Trustus Theatre concludes its 28th Season as it brings Collected Stories, directed by Milena Herring, to the Thigpen Main Stage. Collected Stories opens Thursday August 15th and runs through August 18th, 2013 - with a special "Columbia Theatre Curtain Call" event following the last performance. This event will bring many of Columbia's theatres, theatre artists, and patrons together to celebrate another thrilling year of performances in 2012 and 2013.

Trustus Theatre is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Parallel Lives, the Kathy and Mo Show bringing the show back for a special three-night run. This classic Trustus show starring Trustus Artistic Director Dewey Scott-Wiley and long-time company member Elena Martinez-Vidal, has had audiences raving and laughing for the past two decades. This special three night event opens tonight, February 28th at 8:00pm, and runs through Saturday March 2nd at 8:00pm.

What exactly were doctors thinking in the 1880s at the dawn of the age of electricity, when they utilized vibrator therapies on their female patients in the name of medical treatment? What did these patients think was happening to them when doctors dispelled their so-called 'hysteria' with a very personal innovative machine? That's what award-winning playwright Sarah Ruhl wondered when she set out to write In the Next Room, or the Vibrator Play - a brave Tony-nominated show that finds a home on the Trustus Main Stage this Spring. Under the direction of guest director Ellen Douglas Schlaefer, the show opens tonight, May 4th at 8:00pm, and runs through May 26th, 2012. Check out production photos below!
