HBO and RAI have renewed the drama series MY BRILLIANT FRIEND for a third season, it was announced today by Francesca Orsi, EVP HBO Programming and Eleonora Andreatta, Rai head of Drama.

The cast and crew of My Brilliant Friend discuss how Elena and Lila's friendship will evolve and tease what's to come in season 2. Season 2 premieres Monday at 10pm.

Deadline reports that Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Dakota Johnson, and Peter Sarsgaard have joined the cast of 'The Lost Daughter.'

Based on Elena Ferrante's second book of her four-part series, MY BRILLIANT FRIEND: THE STORY OF A NEW NAME, debuting MONDAY, MARCH 16 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), follows Elena and Lila's journey into adulthood as they weather romance, heartbreak, success and betrayal.

At the beginning of My Brilliant Friend, all there is on stage is a desk, a chair and a laptop. For the Olivier stage (and the for the National Theatre in general), it's noticeably, surprisingly bare, but one thing is clear: a story is about to be told.

This year's UEA Drama season, running from 3 - 8 December, features two plays by Timberlake Wertenbaker, one of the UK's most renowned contemporary female playwrights and currently the Chair in Playwrighting at the University Of East Anglia. Rose Theatre Kingston today announces the full programme for Let Me In, running across two days throughout the theatre from 21 - 22 June 2019. Let Me In is an inclusive drama festival with a line-up of both free and ticketed events for guests with physical, learning and sensory needs, carers, families and friends. Since its inception in 2011, the event has engaged hundreds of children and their families, embedding strong working relationships with local schools, community groups, parents and carers alike. This year's programme includes immersive events, backstage tours and workshops run by Rose Youth Theatre, as well as performances from What's Coming out of the Box and Bloomin' Arts. The festival has been programmed by Rose Theatre Kingston festival co-ordinator Harriet Astbury.
