New England Conservatory has announced an expansive fall season of classical and contemporary music concerts featuring a diverse roster of ensembles and programming. Ensembles large and small perform in NEC's world-class venues, including Jordan Hall and the Plimpton Shattuck Black Box Theatre.

The Boise Phil has announced its 2022-23 'Season of Wonder,' featuring celebrated canonical works; the Boise Phil co-commissions from Jennifer Higdon, Vijay Iyer, and Jimmy López Bellido; performances from world-renowned guest artists including violinist Timothy Chooi, pianist Fei-Fei, and cellist Inbal Segev; and a one-of-a-kind book club.

The Music Institute of Chicago Chorale, conducted by Daniel Wallenberg, opens its 2021–22 season with “Song of Songs” Sunday, December 12 at 3 p.m. at Nichols Concert Hall, 1490 Chicago Avenue, Evanston. Soprano Lise Davidsen and pianist Leif Ove Andsnes, two Norwegian artists who have risen to the top of the classical music world, have collaborated for the first time on a new album of Edvard Grieg songs to be released on Decca Classics on January 7, 2022.

The San Diego Symphony today announced its winter-spring 2022 concert season, offering 31 performances of classical and contemporary masterworks and chamber music from January 15 through May 28. Presented as “Hear Us Here,” the season will give the San Diego Symphony the opportunity to bring its music to a wider audience, with concerts performed at nine venues in the city and across the County, including the Symphony's newest venue, The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.

“Halloweenie IV: Innards” follows Ashnikko’s two arresting new singles, “Panic Attacks In Paradise” and “Maggots,” as well as recent collaboration with Lady Gaga on her record-breaking remix album Dawn of Chromatica, which saw Ashnikko reimagine “Plastic Doll,” giving new life to the empowering bop.

New album features world premieres inspired by the beauty of nature and humanity's impact by Kevin Puts, Nico Muhly, and Caroline Shaw.

This year, the festival will consist of a comical Bach cantata, a wind orchestra and sumptuous Grieg strings.
