The critically acclaimed new musical based on one of the best-selling albums of all time, will launch a nineteen city North American tour at Detroit's Fox Theatre this November following an eagerly anticipated return engagement at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre. Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical is currently playing an extended smash hit engagement in London's West End where it won the 2017 Evening Standard Award for Best Musical.
A powerful new play by the award-winning American writer Ken Urban, A Guide for the Homesick will make its European debut at Trafalgar Studios Two from 16 October - 24 November, with press night on 18 October 2018. This gripping thriller will star Douglas Booth (Jupiter Ascending, Speech and Debate) and Clifford Samuel (McMafia, The Events) and is directed by Jonathan O'Boyle.

Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical's lead Andrew Polec, who plays the character of 'forever young' Strat, is leaving the West End production of the show. Polec, who won the 'Joe Allen Best West End Debut' in the Stage Debut Awards 2017 for his performance as Strat, has been involved in the show since the beginning. He commented:
The producers of Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical have announced five special performances when the audience will be able to sing along with the cast to the classic hits. These performances will take place on Tuesday 28 August, Tuesday 25 September, Wednesday 31 October, Tuesday 27 November and Monday 31 December. On Halloween (31 October) and New Year's Eve (31 December), the audiences will also have the option to come dressed as their favourite character from the show or from one of Meat Loaf's iconic videos. The best dressed audience member on each night will go home that evening with a Bat Out Hell - The Musical poster signed by Meat Loaf himself.
Full casting has been announced for Rain Man, the inaugural production of Bill Kenwright's Classic Screen to Stage Theatre Company. The winner of the Evening Standard Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical 2017 began previews at the Dominion Theatre on Monday 2 April, with a gala performance on 19 April 2018.

Opera Atelier's founding co-artistic directors Marshall Pynkoski and Jeannette Lajeunesse Zingg today announced a partnership with Mirvish Productions.
