The Play That Goes Wrong, the Olivier Award-winning box office hit, today announces that a new cast at the Duchess Theatre from Tuesday 26th February 2019.

FOREIGNER and Eagle Vision today announced the release of the concert film, Foreigner Live At The Rainbow '78, which is available on DVD, Blu-ray, and digital video from March 15th.

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, today announced the appointment of Opera Atelier founding Co-Artistic Directors Marshall Pynkoski and Jeannette Lajeunesse Zingg to the Order of Canada. This announcement comes on the heels of Opera Atelier's most extensive international touring in the company's 33-year history. This honour recognizes Pynkoski and Zingg's outstanding impact on the performing arts in Canada and their longtime commitment to the mentorship of young artists through The School of Atelier Ballet.

Before the show even begins, the voice of Andrew Lloyd Webber informs us all that the kids in SCHOOL OF ROCK play their instruments live. This becomes overwhelmingly impressive as the show progresses. SCHOOL OF ROCK: THE MUSICAL, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and book by Julian Fellows is an adaption of the successful Paramount movie starring Jack Black. In this musical interpretation, the kids take centre stage as the stars of the show.

Last night, hit West End show, Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical, was attended by HRH The Duke of Sussex as a special gala performance of the show was held in support of the Invictus Games Foundation, of which The Duke is Patron.

A new musical built around legendary band FOREIGNER's peerless catalogue of hit songs will make its world premiere this winter in Toronto.

Audiences have two weeks left to catch Ken Urban's arresting new drama A Guide for the Homesick, with its 'mesmerizing performances' (Aleks Sierz, Theatre Times) by the talented Douglas Booth and Clifford Samuel. This gripping new drama completes its hit run on 24 November 2018. The production is directed by Jonathan O'Boyle and produced by Stage Traffic Productions.

The producers have announced Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical, the critically acclaimed, thrilling new musical based on one of the best-selling albums of all time, will play an eight-week engagement at New York City Center (131 West 55th Street) as part of its North American tour, which is currently at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre and officially launches next week at Detroit's Fox Theatre.

David Mirvish has announced that THE LIGHTNING THIEF: THE PERCY JACKSON MUSICAL, an "electrifying" (Newsday) musical adaption of the New York Times best-selling novel written by Rick Riordan, will play a strictly limited engagement, March 19 - 24, 2019, at the Ed Mirvish Theatre.

In April 2018, hit West End show, Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical, announced a wide-ranging global partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, the governing body of the Invictus Games. The producers are now delighted to be able to announce a special Gala Performance of the musical in support of the Invictus Games Foundation on Thursday 6 December 2018.

Ahead of the European debut at Trafalgar Studios from 16 October - 24 November, A Guide for the Homesick, releases rehearsal images and trailer. The powerful new play by the award-winning American writer Ken Urban stars Douglas Booth (Jupiter Ascending, Speech and Debate) and Clifford Samuel (McMafia, The Events) and is directed by Jonathan O'Boyle.

The stars of Bat Out Of Hell recently appeared on Fox 2 in Detroit, where they discussed bringing the show to the stage. The pair also performed the song 'For Crying Out Loud.'

Mirvish Subscriptions have been a major part of Toronto's cultural calendar for over 50 years. The subscription series began at the Royal Alexandra Theatre and has grown to include performances at the four Mirvish theatres - the Royal Alex, the Princess of Wales, the Ed Mirvish and the CAA. 

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a 6 week run in Toronto in 2013, an 11 week run in 2014 and a 7 week run in 2017 returns to Toronto for a limited engagement next summer, June 11 - 23, 2019 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre.
