David Mirvish announces that due to popular demand ANNIE THE MUSICAL will add one more week of performances, extending to June 3, 2018 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre. Performances for ANNIE THE MUSICAL begin April 24 and play through June 3, 2018. This new block of tickets will go on sale Saturday March 24, 2018.
Jim Steinman's Bat Out of Hell is coming back to London next month, with performances beginning April 2. This will be a return to West End for the rock opera. It played a limited run at the London Coliseum earlier in 2017, in addition to runs at the Manchester Opera House and Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre. The show is also said to be eyeing a potential Broadway run as well.
The 2018/19 Mirvish season will feature six Canadian premieres, one North American premiere, one pre-Broadway engagement and five new productions. A total of 16 shows will play at Mirvish theatres from June 2018 to July 2019. The main subscription season will feature seven shows and the Off-Mirvish season three shows. There will be six bonus shows that will not be on subscription.

After a provocative first season, Chimera Ensemble is launching into Season Two with the world premiere of CAM BABY, an unsettling comedy written by Jessica Moss, a Lila Acheson Wallace Playwriting Fellow at The Juilliard School. Last night (30 November 2017), the West End Company of Annie officially welcomed Meera Syal who now plays the role of Miss Hannigan in the hit musical at the Piccadilly Theatre. Syal celebrated with friends and family, including Lolita Chakrabarti, Sean Foley, Nitin Ganatra, Twiggy and Leigh Lawson and Nicola Walker, as well as fellow cast members. Syal will play the role of Miss Hannigan for the duration of the run which concludes, as previously announced, on 18 February 2018 at the Piccadilly Theatre.
Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail has reported that Jim Steinman's Bat Out of Hell will play at London's Dominion Theatre next spring. Performances are expected to begin April 2nd. Tickets are on sale from this Monday at 12 PM.
