Old School Square announces the 2017-18 Season of performances, lectures, exhibits, classes and workshops.

On Thursday, June 22, 2017, the Howard County Arts Council will host a special reception in conjunction with the Columbia Festival of the Arts.

Creative Time and The New York Public Library (NYPL) will present the latest installment of their collaborative venture In Situ, a site-specific series of conversations pairing leading artists and intellectuals to address critical topics of our time.

Beck Center for the Arts Creative Arts Therapies Department and the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCBDD) are pleased to present Razzle Dazzle XVII: Happy Together May 5 - 6, 2017. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 5, and 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 6. Performances will be held in Beck Center's Music and Dance Building.

BRIC, the leading presenter of free cultural programming in Brooklyn, is pleased to announce the lineup and sponsors for the 39th annual BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival General Director Nigel Redden has announced the program for the 41st annual Spoleto Festival USA, taking place May 26 through June 11, 2017, in Charleston, South Carolina. "On the heels of a hugely exciting 40th season, this year's Festival promises to build on that momentum, with even more dance and theater performances than in previous years," says Redden. "Charleston's rich history in the arts comes alive during each Festival, and we will explore that history and add to it again in 2017."

Jacob's Pillow Dance announces today the appointment of four new members to its Board of Trustees: MacArthur Genius Fellow and Jacob's Pillow Dance Award recipient Kyle Abraham; former New York City Ballet principal dancer Wendy Whelan; lawyer, teacher, and active member of the Massachusetts community Diane Patrick; and Berkshires-based gallerist Sienna Patti.

 Howl at the Moon brings the dueling piano experience to Philadelphia's suburbs starting this week. Valley Forge Casino Resort (1160 First Avenue) and The Vault nightclub and music venue welcome Howl at the Moon each and every Saturday, with the grand opening slated for January 14, 2017. Get ready to sing, dance and howl as the versatile and talented musicians perform live music from 80's rock, 90's pop and today's dance hits on pianos. Doors open at 8:00pm and the live show from 9pm to 12:30am. The party continues at The Vault until 2am. Admission is free and open to those 21 and up only.

The building that The Soap Factory occupies has been used for many things; the railroad, armory storage, the production of soap, and for the past 21 years, an art gallery. In 1995 a group of artists (No Name Exhibitions) moved into an industrial, utilitarian space and transformed it into one of Minneapolis' most well known cultural hubs.
