Today, jazz virtuoso Stephen Bruner aka Thundercat releases “Dragonball Durag”, the second single from It Is What It Is, out April 3rd on Brainfeeder. The new track, produced by Thunder and Flying Lotus, encapsulates his love of humour in music and his passion for the cult Japanese animé Dragon Ball Z.

The super-sized second annual Adult Swim Festival will be held next week, November 15 and 16, at the stunning Banc of California Stadium in Downtown Los Angeles. Casting Society of America (CSA) today announced the television and theatre nominees for the 35th Artios Awards, which honor the contribution of Casting Directors to film, television and theatre. The winners will be revealed on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in ceremonies in Los Angeles, New York City and London. Comedian, actor and writer Ron Funches will serve as host for the Los Angeles event.

Disney's The Lion King crossed the billion-dollar mark after less than three weeks in theaters this past weekend, according to Variety.

Filmmakers, talent and special guests celebrated Disney's “The Lion King” tonight in Hollywood. The movie, which opens on July 19, 2019, welcomes beloved characters back to the big screen in a whole new way.

Beyonce will be releasing a new album titled, 'The Lion King: The Gift' which will feature an array of songs inspired by the film, performed by African artists.
