Woodruff School ACE Music Students To Be Running Wild

WOODRUFF SCHOOL ACE MUSIC invites community members to escape the 'zoo' of life in SEABROOK, NJ and join them on a transatlantic musical adventure when its students perform DreamWorks Madagascar - A Musical Adventure JR. beginning April 12th, it was announced today by Drew Cohen, president of Music Theatre International (MTI). Based on the DreamWorks Animation Motion Picture, the show follows a group of Central Park Zoo animals who are unexpectedly shipped to Africa.

Ocean State Theatre to Close

After a late night board meeting last evening, ongoing financial struggles are forcing Ocean State Theatre Co, Inc. (OSTC) to immediately close the theatre on Jefferson Blvd, cancel its summer programs, and suspend the fall mainstage season. The future of the theatre company is under evaluation. As for the future of the theatre space itself, OSTC has not been given any information by the landlord, Mutual Properties.

MTI Acquires Licensing Rights to My Fair Lady, Brigadoon, Camelot, Paint Your Wagon, and The Day Before Spring

Drew Cohen, President of Music Theatre International (MTI), announced today that MTI will represent the secondary stage performance rights to five musicals by the legendary writing team of Lerner & Loewe, including their masterpiece My Fair Lady, the beloved classics Camelot, Brigadoon and Paint Your Wagon, and their newly-restored early work, The Day Before Spring.   MTI, from June 1, will begin representing My Fair Lady in the US, the UK, and all English-language territories, and will represent the four other titles on a worldwide basis. (Some restrictions may apply).

Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco to Bring 'Why Would You Do That' Tour to Caesars Palace

Last year's Just for Laughs' Stand Up Comedian of the Year Sebastian Maniscalco continues to bring the laughs once again to Las Vegas with a highly anticipated stop of his "Why Would You Do That" tour at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Maniscalco is scheduled to perform Sunday, October 8. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, May 12 at noon PT. The event is presented jointly by AEG Presents and Caesars Entertainment.
