Today marks the debut of RISE (Representation, Inclusion, & Support for Employment) Theatre, along with the launch of their new tool: The RISE Theatre Directory, a FREE national online directory promoting the visibility of individuals who work backstage, behind-the-scenes, and in support of theatre making.

Today, The Lorraine Hansberry Initiative announced their plans for programming in Los Angeles that will take place during the summer, including two special installations of sculptor Alison Saar’s statue of Hansberry at Gloria Molina Grand Park from June 14th – June 30th and at the A C Bilbrew Library from July 7th – July 31st.

FUSION has announced that abs wilson, from New York, NY, is a winner of the 17th annual short works festival, The Seven-one of the nation's premiere short works festivals. This year's theme is 'The Elephant in the Room.' abs wilson was in the top seven from the jury scoring of scripts from forty states and nine countries.
