Due to company members having tested positive for COVID-19, MTC has delayed the beginning of preview performances of the Broadway premiere of Dominique Morisseau's SKELETON CREW until Monday, December 27th.

Sugar Ray by Laurence Holder will have its theatrical premiere January 6 to 23, 2022 at Gene Frankel Theatre, 24 Bond Street, presented by 24 Bond Arts Center in association with Faith Steps Productions and performed by AUDELCO-winner Reginald L. Wilson.  The theater's playing area will be transformed into a boxing ring for the production.

The cast of Ain't Too Proud took to the stage at the Kennedy Center Honors to honor Berry Gordy. The cast, consisting of Nik Walker, James Harkness, Jawan M. Manhattan Theatre Club will present the Broadway premiere of Skeleton Crew, written by Tony Award nominee Dominique Morisseau and directed by Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson. Performances begin Tuesday, December 21, 2021 and opening night is Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at MTC’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

Ain't Too Proud follows the journey of The Temptations from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. With their signature dance moves and unmistakable harmonies, they rose to the top of the charts creating an amazing 42 Top Ten Hits with 14 reaching number one.

Broadway in Fort Lauderdale has announced that tickets are now on sale for the First National Tour of AIN’T TOO PROUD. The new Broadway smash hit musical will play in Fort Lauderdale at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts Tuesday, February 8, 2022 through Sunday, February 20, 2022 as part of the 2021-2022 Broadway season.

The 2021/22 reIGNITE Live Arts Season continues with Dominique Morisseau's searingly emotional family drama, PIPELINE. PIPELINE will have 12 performances, January 14 through January 30, 2022, at Live Arts Theater, 123 E. Water Street, in Charlottesville.

FRIGID New York will present the 13th Annual The Fire This Time Festival at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery), January 17-February 6, 2022. Performances will also be available to livestream from home.
