Veteran Broadway actor, Richard Waits, is bringing Jon-Marc McDonald's anticipated play, Relatively Conscious, to the stage in February at the New York Theater Festival. The play, which centers around the murder of James Byrd Jr in 1998, will run February 6, 7, and 10th at the Hudson Guild Theater in New York City.  

Bad Wolves are currently dominating the rock and metal charts around the globe with their cover of The Cranberries' “Zombie”. Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan was scheduled to record guest vocals on the song the very day of her tragic passing. The band decided to move forward and release the track in her memory with all proceeds going to her three children.

MANKILLER, one of the featured films in this year's Sedona International Film Festival, is a compelling and inspiring tribute to the Cherokee Nation's first woman Chief, Wilma Mankiller. Gale Anne Hurd and Valerie Red-Horse have skillfully weaved together footage of the turbulent times that tried Wilma's and her people's souls and the testimonials of those who witnessed her achievements. In due course, the history of Wilma Mankiller is the history of the Cherokee Nation and inevitably a verdict on the history of the United States.

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will present Reveries: An Immersive Theatrical Experience at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues) on February 1st, 2018 with six performances through February 4th, 2018.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced complete casting today for the New York premiere of MISS YOU LIKE HELL. With book and lyrics by Quiara Alegr a Hudes and music and lyrics by Erin McKeown, the new musical is directed by Public Theater Resident Director and Founder of Public Works Lear deBessonet, with choreography by Danny Mefford. The musical will begin previews in The Public's Newman Theater on Tuesday, March 20 and run through Sunday, May 6, with an official press opening on Tuesday, April 10.

New York City Opera will present the celebrated Italian soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci in her highly anticipated return to New York on Tuesday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m. Due to popular demand, City Opera has added a second performance the following night, Wednesday, February 21 at 7:30 p.m. Both concerts will be at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall. Ms. Antonacci will perform a program tailored for City Opera featuring works by Debussy, Nadia Boulanger, Respighi, Britten, and Poulenc with her longtime collaborator pianist Donald Sulzen. The concerts will be Ms. Antonacci's first appearance in the U.S. in nearly three seasons.

Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan was set to record vocals for hard rock band Bad Wolves' cover of 'Zombie' this past Monday, January 15th, the day of her tragic passing. Today the band release their version of 'Zombie' in her memory, with proceeds going to O'Riordan's three children.

Hard rock band Bad Wolves issued a statement yesterday via Twitter, expressing their deep condolences at the sudden passing of Cranberries lead vocalist Dolores O'Riordan.

Dolores O'Riordan, the lead singer of the Cranberries, has died in London at the age of 46. The news was announced by her publicist. A cause of death has thus far not been revealed.
